Recently I've been asked if I want anything from http://www.bornprettystore , so I've searched trough the site and found a great sample of BB cream, that I've already heard so much about. So I gave it a try!
I must admit that I've never tried any of BB creams before, because some of them in my local drugstore were too expensive and the range of colors were from Snooki orange to brown! So, that's something that always keep pushing me away! I remember that I've read a review about the Loreal one, but some of the final results weren't as positive as it said!
My BB cream finally arrived, and I was thrilled to try it out. Balm comes in small, but very well made pink tube, with fine cap and it contains about 10 ml of products. Now, I'm very picky about price and amount of product that comes with that price, so if you are like me, 5 dollars for 10 ml of product wouldn't be something that I would be interested in near future.
Now let's talk about important things about this balm. So, BB creams stands for blemish balm, and BB has several important tasks to do:
a) whitening and brightening - I must say that this is totally correct. I've applied small amount of Lohashill BB cream after cleansing my face and it instantly did brightened my skin. Although it gives great results, I might save it for wintery times, because my skin is pretty tanner now.
b) hydrating and controlling grease - When I apply my makeup, I want it to last longer, so I try not to correct my makeup during the day. After I apply my BB cream, I haven't noticed any grease peeking trough the day, so I must say it controls grease pretty good. About hydrating part, well, the cream is pretty thick and I apply my BB cream with damp Sigma F80 brush, but haven't noticed any difference.
c) coverage -As for coverage, I think this is the best task done by this balm. I don't have problematic skin, no acne or pimples, but I do have imperfections that needs to be covered. I love how it covers pretty much every scar or discoloration.
Those were some of the main tasks that every BB cream does. On the back of Lohashill balm also said that it concealing pores ( true ), blocking UV, repairing cells ( didn't notice anything) , nourishing ( true ), covering scars and various kinds of spots ( true ), smoothening fine lines and regulating uneven skin tone ( true ).
My final opinion: I've been using this BB cream for two months now, not every day, but almost every day along with my usual makeup routine and this balm fits in perfectly. It leaves smooth face and it gives me healthy glow. It brightens my skin and protect it also. I didn't notice that it's hydrating but it didn't leave any dry patches of skin. Overall, I really liked this product and thinking of repurchasing bigger tube!
